extreme makeover... polish edition

hey guys... so things are pretty good over here. we've spent most of the last week either teaching, or tearing off wallpaper.. yep, no more winnie-the-pooh... but here are some pics of our exciting lives... our living room before...

here's chris working hard... it was quite a messme lounging in our new living room... once the canada jersey was up it felt like home again

and this is our bedroom with the wallpaper off, and the crazy carpet out.. we were pretty surprised to find hardwood underneath some blue sky.. yep, we have to take a picture whenever we see blue sky (thats how rare it is)
one of the markets here in town... where you can find almost everything, from fresh veggies, to 2nd hand clothes, to puppies

reminders of the past...
i guess we havent really talked at all about how we've been pretty fortunate to find this amazing little church near us... they have been so welcoming and friendly that its really made it a lot easier on us.. most of them dont know any english which is some encouragement for us to learn some polish. but last week we taught them all some english songs and they had a blast with that... anyways, things are good and i'm sure chris will be writing soon... she's actually teaching right now... my lesson was cancelled so she's the one making the big bucks (or big zlotys) tonight

    Well,
Good to know you're both doing well. Nice work on making yourselves a home out there, it looks good... you must have had fun finding furniture and housethings and stuff. I recently settled into my new home as well, the Westmoreland in Wolseley; I'll send some photos.

    Yeah, I'd better jet...
    love Gregger

ps. I ran into Nova at an art opening on Friday... gave here you blog address....so you'll hear from her soon...

Scott and Joanne had a baby boy on November 23. His name is Seth Isaiah. He is really cute and is a very good baby. Scott was very excited to have another motocrosser in the family.

Glad that you are doing well. It is so good to have this site so we can peek in on your life. That's it kc make Chris do all the work of tearing down that lovely wallpaper and than go and put in a full day of teaching while you sit on the couch! love Rev. Lorne and Esther.

    greetings to my polish family.
    trading spaces served you well,
and you like the sound of church bells.
your life over there seems fun at the least,
when i come and see the sights you can make me a feast.
i am doing fine right now and the bakery and classes,
i will be doing much better though when this semester passes.
    take care,
    codi

I see you're wearing the mittens Chris made for you. Good job...keep on wearing them. I want to go to that market! It looks so neat there! So for all who are reading this that aren't Kc or Chris...I don't have a boyfriend named Yuri who lives in Poland...sorry to let you down.
