empty nest.

we've been enjoying our time here in mussoorie with the girls before the beginning of school and all of the responsibilities that come along with it. our days were mainly spent wandering the hills, the girls seeking out bargains to spend their remaining rupees... also cherishing the coke in a bottle, small tailor shops and small cafes.

codi, kyle and myself also took a couple days to hike up the highest peak in the area, nag tibba, at around 10,000ft. there were a couple neat villages, some good views and sore muscles to remind us of the steep climbs.

holly at flag hill... just a short walk from our door

this was the girls' favorite way around town... the indian way, 3 on a bike! i'm a little scared because they seem to be inspired to get their own...

but all is quiet now... they took off this morning, leaving us with our quiet house and a day to get ready for school to start, it may take awhile to get out of holiday mode.

Wow, it all looks fabulously exciting.

I was just checking out the situation with where you guys are, and it seems there's an overnighter between your town and Dharamsala/McLeod Ganj where I'm going to be based. So perhaps we could visit.

We'll talk as the time gets closer - right now I'm in the very early stages.

Any advice btw? (Vaccinations are my worst nightmare!)
