the countdown is on.

So it’s been around 4 months now. The blur of all things new, and the monsoon have long lifted and life here seems pretty normal. As normal as life here can be, but normal in a strange sense, not normal like Manitoba normal, but like this is our home for now normal.

a couple of my boys dressed up for "open house". our theme was "blockbuster", they were supposed to decorate their rooms in a movie theme and dress up like actors, can you guess what movie they're from?

chris was at an "artfest" in dehradun last weekend. she had to create a piece while a bunch of people watched her every move and asked her many questions...

this is where chris can be found on many saturdays or sundays... hanging out by the kiln, with her cup of coffee, an artbook or sketchbook... it's a good place for her to get away. the kiln here is run by propane as well, so you physically have to be there to turn it up every 5 minutes for around 7 hours, kind of forces that busy girl to slow down

kyle (another dorm parent) and myself headed out to this village last week, it was a couple hours down the ridge, but felt like years and years away, except for the satellite tv and cell phones. the pumpkins on the roofs were one of the few hints it was fall, as the leaves haven't really changed yet.

But life moves on, the semester is quickly ending, Greg is coming soon so we’ve got to get some travel plans done…

caution on the roads.

it was the woodstock employees sports day awhile back. it was great to see everyone out with their families, enjoying the sun, the sports, and not having to work. pretty funny though... lots of barefeet, jeans, sari's... no expensive sportswear here.. but lots and lots of laughter

here's the biker ready for action... the monkeys and cows better watch out!
