hockey night in india

so for a couple nights a week after study halls for the last 2 months we've been having a street hockey league. it's been awesome, i'm not sure who's more pumped? the kids or me? stats, players of the week, and yes a trophy, and even our own version of champagne.



greg also got out this week. so he's adjusting quickly to life here and the other day we headed out to tackle his first peak and were greated to some snow... i guess he brought the cooler temperatures with him.

leprosy mission and a village trip.

i headed down to dehradun this week to check out the leprosy mission. it's a very neat place. a place where people with leprosy can come live in community, and they all work together to produce some amazing fabrics, bags, and rugs.



on friday after school 7 of us headed out to a local village. it was only 4 miles away as the crow flies, but driving these roads it took us 2 hours, pretty crazy.






kyle and i headed out on a hike saturday, while the rest of the gang visited the schools... christina has them busy working on portrait drawings.
